When it comes to managing trains in an online ticket booking system, it's important to have a section dedicated to train details. In this project, the administrator can easily handle train records.
This makes it convenient to include all the necessary information for the system. To add train details, the administrator needs to provide various information such as the train's name, number, route, fare, total seats/passengers, and departure time.
Each train must have its own unique train number. The administrator can also view, update, and delete train details, while system users can view and print the train information.
To make the Train Ticket Management system simplified, we have divided the tickets into three categories: Pending, Approved, and Management.
When passengers make a reservation and their payment is confirmed, the details are stored in the Pending section for the administrator's approval. In this section, the administrator can see a list of pending tickets along with the passenger's name and booking details.
This information is also used in the accounting section to calculate total ticket sales.
Once the administrator approves a ticket, the details are moved to the Approved section on codeastro.com. Here, the administrator can view the payment codes for each passenger's reservation. It's important to note that the admin needs to manually mark and confirm the payment.
In addition to ticket approval, the Train Ticket Management section allows the administrator to update or delete train ticket reservations. This gives the admin flexibility to make changes as needed.
User Registration: Users need to create an account on the railway reservation website by providing their personal details such as name, contact information, and email address.
Train Search: Users can search for trains by entering their source and destination stations, along with the desired travel date. The software then retrieves the available train options based on the entered criteria.
